DISCOVER at ADA
Announcing DISCOVER activities at the American Diabetes Association’s 79th Scientific Sessions.
The DISCOVER team is pleased to share that the study has again been recognized by the American Diabetes Association (ADA). Five posters will be presented by members of the Scientific Committee during the 79th Scientific Sessions, 7–11 June 2019 in San Francisco, CA, USA.

Professor Bernard Charbonnel will present a poster titled Changes in HbA1c levels and treatment in the second year following initiation of second-line therapy in people with type 2 diabetes: the global DISCOVER study (1628-P) on Saturday 8 June, 11:30–12:30, category 16-F Epidemiology–Other.
Professor Kamlesh Khunti will present a poster titled Potential overtreatment of older patients with type 2 diabetes: the global DISCOVER study (1448-P) on Saturday 8 June, 11:30–12:30, category 16-A Epidemiology–Aging.
Professor Marina Shestakova will present a poster titled Socioeconomic factors associated with poor glycemic control (HbA1c level ≥ 9.0%) in people with type 2 diabetes: the DISCOVER study program (1279-P) on Sunday 9 June, 12:00–13:00, category 13 Health Care Delivery–Economics/Quality Improvement.
Professor Suzanne Arnold will present a poster titled Type 2 diabetes and heart failure: insights from the DISCOVER study (207-LB) on Sunday 9 June, 12:00–13:00, category 16-B Epidemiology–Cardiovascular Disease.
Professor Mikhail Kosiborod will present a poster titled Microvascular and macrovascular events in patients with T2D: results from the global DISCOVER study (420-P) on Monday 10 June, 12:00–13:00, category 02-A Complications–Macrovascular–Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease and Human Diabetes.
