DISCOVER featured during special session at IDF 2017
DISCOVER baseline data presented in a series of talks during the session entitled ‘Latest diabetes clinical trials’ at the IDF congress in Abu Dhabi.
This year, the DISCOVER team has been amplifying their global presence by presenting baseline data at major international congresses in Europe and the USA. These presentations have attracted great interest from the scientific community, most notably from the International Diabetes Federation (IDF), a leading professional society involved in the global diabetes community.
In recognition of the value and importance of the DISCOVER study, the IDF has invited Scientific Committee members to present baseline data as part of the main scientific programme during a session entitled ‘Latest diabetes clinical trials’ at the 2017 IDF congress, 4–8 December in Abu Dhabi, UAE. With an attendance of up to 12 000 healthcare professionals, academics and policy makers, the IDF congress is an excellent forum to showcase DISCOVER data on the global management of people with type 2 diabetes.
The Scientific Committee is proud to represent the work of all the investigators whose continued efforts are making DISCOVER such a great success. Thank you everyone for your hard work!
